Indwell's tenant satisfaction report for 2025–2026 is in, with 600 responses

The results from our latest tenant survey were received at the beginning of 2026. Conducted in November 2025 using the Ontario Perception of Care tool for Mental Health and Addictions (OPOC-MHA) — a validated survey developed by the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health — the survey reflects how tenants perceive the care and supports they receive while living at Indwell.

This marks the second consecutive year Indwell has conducted the survey and, while not all results can be shared publicly, we are pleased to highlight a few key findings here. We are also grateful to our program teams, whose efforts helped double tenant participation this year.

Survey format

The survey collects feedback across seven domains:

  • Access/Entry to Services
  • Services Provided
  • Participation/Rights
  • Staff
  • Environment
  • Discharge
  • Overall Experience

Respondents are asked to rate their level of agreement with a number of statements in each domain. ‘Not Applicable’ is also available.

The results below represent the proportion of respondents who indicated they agree or strongly agree with the statement, excluding respondents who indicated ‘Not Applicable’ as well as "Access / Entry to Housing" questions.
