Supports
Many tenants arrive to Indwell from hospital, the justice system, shelter services or other forms of precarious housing.
Indwell’s enhanced supportive housing offers tenants a permanent affordable apartment and provides services through an on-site interdisciplinary staff team.
Creating opportunities for health and stability
Supports increase the likelihood that tenants are successful in maintaining stable housing and pursuing their health and wellness goals in a supportive community.
Integrated supports tailored to each individual's needs
Indwell offers a spectrum of support options across our programs giving tenants the opportunity to move towards independence.
Tenants may also choose to eventually move into other independent housing options within the community.
Feedback matters
At Indwell, tenant feedback plays an important role in shaping the supports and services we provide. Each year, tenants are invited to participate in the Ontario Perception of Care (OPOC) survey for Mental Health and Addictions, a standardized survey developed by the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). The survey helps us better understand tenants’ experiences, including what’s working well and where we can improve. Feedback from the OPOC survey helps guide ongoing improvements to our programs and supports, ensuring tenants’ voices remain at the centre of the work we do.
