Help Tenants Get Out and About

Transportation funds for Blossom Park Apartments and Harvey Woods Lofts in Woodstock, as well as Parkdale Landing and Strathearne Suites in East Hamilton

Tenants can be limited in participating in community activities outside of regular transit hours and routes, and sometimes tenants require transportation to access important medical services. Your gift will allow the program to rent a van for group activities or provide taxi vouchers when the availability or cost of transportation limits tenants’ ability to participate in activities outside of their buildings.

Support Suicide Prevention Training

ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) develops skills to prevent the immediate risk of suicidal behavior. Indwell is seeking funding for two program staff to receive ASIST training early in 2020. As part of their certification, they will then lead three suicide intervention workshops for Indwell support staff in the coming year and annually after that.
