Ontario is facing a growing crisis of homelessness, housing insecurity, and unmet mental health needs.

Southern Ontario faces a deepening housing crisis — demand outpaces supply by over 20,000 rental units annually, vacancy rates hover near 1–2%, while rents climb 5–6% yearly, disproportionately burdening lower‑income individuals and families, including those on fixed income like ODSP. For those with mental health challenges, the struggle is amplified by limited access to stable housing and supportive services, often leading to cycles of homelessness and crisis.

Indwell addresses this gap by creating deeply affordable supportive housing communities that integrate mental health supports, helping people regain stability, health, and belonging.

Now more than ever, it is important that our tenants feel connected with others, even if they cannot be physically connected. Send a note of encouragement to be shared with our tenants who are feeling isolated at this time.
