The former nursing home at 46 Elmwood Place offers an ideal opportunity for conversion to a small apartment building. In 2023, Developing for Change and Indwell initiated a partnership to retrofit this building into a 50-unit building that will offer affordable supportive housing.
Developing for Change will use their expertise to efficiently convert the space into new housing. Indwell will use its expertise in health and housing to support tenants through an onsite interdisciplinary team and effective property management.
Developing for Change is a collaboration of four local builders and developers: The Tricar Group, Auburn Group, Drewlo Holdings Inc., and Sifton Properties Limited. Their objective is to continue the commitment to 46 Elmwood redevelopment and identify and support opportunities for community development, fostering sustainable and thriving communities in the London area. The group brings together decades of local construction expertise and shared community-oriented values.
