Parkdale Landing officially opened in the fall of 2018, transforming the former George & Mary’s Tavern into 57 affordable apartments with ground-floor commercial space and a community culinary centre.
Indwell has won a national award for its Parkdale Landing project in Hamilton.
The charity received the national Green Building Excellence — Inspiring Home Award, which was presented by the Canada Green Building Council. Indwell’s development team for Parkdale Landing included Invizij Architects, Schilthuis Construction, CK Engineering and Kalos Engineering. Peel Passive House was the energy-efficiency consultant on the project.

The project also recently received a design award from the Hamilton/Burlington Society of Architects.
On June 4, Indwell was scheduled to hold a public project launch for 50 new apartments at Parkdale Landing.
