Ukuleles are a fun and accessible instrument to learn and play. Your gift will be used to purchase six to launch a ukulele club. We’ll jam together regularly, and tenants will be able to borrow the ukuleles to practice and play on their own at home.

Encourage tenants to enjoy the green space around McQuesten Lofts and Parkdale Landing. The gardens are designed to reflect aspects of health as seen on the Indigenous medicine wheel (hoop) providing an outdoor sanctuary and welcoming outdoor retreat. (For an additional gift of $100 include a plaque with your name, in honour of a friend, or in memory of a loved one.)

Encourage tenants to take advantage of this healthy way of getting around by providing them secure outdoor bike storage.

Two bikes are available for tenants to borrow. Your gift will provide for bicycle upkeep, helmets and locks.

Provide a large colourful umbrella and base that will shade for picnic tables and patio seating, with comfortable spots for tenants to socialize and enjoy outdoor meals.
