After several meetings with Councillors, Indwell has the approval that will allow them to begin redevelopment on the Norfolk Inn.
The possibility that the Norfolk Inn might revert to its flophouse past motivated some on Norfolk council this week to support a partnership with social housing provider Indwell.
The vote Tuesday in favour of Norfolk participating in the $8.5 million renovation was 5-4.
Social housing provider Indwell will share its latest thinking on the Norfolk Inn renovation in downtown Simcoe with Norfolk council Tuesday. Indwell has ambitious plans for the property but the county is reluctant to make a long-term funding commitment.
